About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You take ownership of further developing robust applications.
- You find viable technical solutions and support other developers in making good decisions.
- You assume technical responsibility for the frontend area within the team.
- Together with frontend-focused developers you evolve and maintain strong standards.
- You oversee releases and deployments with a clear overview: coordinate with stakeholders, support team members, and ensure solutions are delivered reliably.
- You plan tests so that relevant risks become visible, specifically check for vulnerabilities, and document results so that clear next steps follow.
- You analyze incidents in a structured way, quickly narrow down root causes even under pressure, and help minimize outages and follow-on impacts.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have experience developing web applications with JavaScript or TypeScript and working in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban).
- You have used Vue.js, React, or comparable frontend frameworks.
- You contribute solutions that enable us to build and maintain long-lived, complex projects.
- You have ideas about how to divide responsibilities between frontend and backend development.
- You are confident taking technical responsibility for the further development of Campact's design system (Camper).
- You are able to understand, document, and optimize complex structures.
- You communicate clearly and respectfully in German (at least C1 level).
- You care about security and data protection and observe the OWASP Top Ten web application security risks when developing.
- Experience developing frontends in the Rails ecosystem is a plus.
