Suggest process improvements to accounting leadership
Monitor and report potential financial issues and risks and provide researched solutions
Maintain written and oral communications between the company and vendors and regulatory agencies
Assist with financial reporting, analysis, reconciliation, month-end and year-end reporting
Perform billing, accounts payable/receivable duties as needed
Support ad hoc projects
Requirements
US-based
2+ years experience as a staff accountant, ideally in a high-growth or remote-first environment
Ideally have or pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, or a related field
Experienced with general accounting principles and functionality
Knowledge of and adherence to current US GAAP policies and procedures
Proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
Proficiency with relevant accounting software (QuickBooks)
Experience with implementing and or automating accounting systems a plus
Strong analytical and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communications, problem solving skills and attention to detail
