About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development and maintenance of front-end applications using React and Next.js
- Own front-end architecture decisions and establish coding standards, best practices, and reusable component libraries
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data flow
- Partner with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes into responsive, accessible, pixel-perfect interfaces
- Lead and mentor junior and mid-level front-end developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance
- Drive integration of OAuth2 and OpenID Connect authentication and authorization flows
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable front-end deployments on Google Cloud Platform
- Champion unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices
- Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with global cross-functional teams across time zones
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of professional front-end development experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Deep expertise in React.js and Next.js
- Strong understanding of responsive design, WCAG web accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with Swagger/OpenAPI API contracts
- Familiarity with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and Keycloak
- Experience with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD practices
- Exposure to GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Understanding of front-end performance optimization techniques
- Headless commerce platform experience, Docker/Kubernetes, GitOps, Postman, B2B commerce flows, and backend concepts are nice to have
- Ability to lead and mentor front-end developers
- Ability to collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA teams
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, attention to detail, and continuous learning
