About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of remote insurance sales agents across the Club's footprint
- Drive sales initiatives and ensure operational excellence
- Monitor and analyze sales data, identify trends, and propose improvements to meet and exceed goals
- Conduct daily huddles to identify opportunities, share best practices, and foster team coaching
- Provide regular, personalized feedback and coaching
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and industry standards through call monitoring and review of new business submissions
- Coordinate team schedules and address coverage gaps
- Manage and approve timesheets and time-off requests
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to interview and hire new team employees
- Use the Predictive Index for a consistent and fair selection process
- Partner with Training and Nesting to support onboarding, training, and technical guidance
- Articulate goals and objectives, provide ongoing coaching, and administer performance reviews
- Address performance and employee relations issues, involving leadership or Human Resources as needed
- Document improvement areas and administer performance counseling
- Partner with stakeholders on systems, processes, referrals, and sales training
- Participate in quarterly sales meetings and present on behalf of the team
- Foster client and stakeholder relationships and ensure five diamond customer service
- Handle customer escalations and resolve issues
- Champion AAA Northeast membership benefits and best practices
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, products, regulatory changes, and insurance carrier products
- Ensure agency processes are followed for quoting, binding coverage, and processing member payments
- Partner with Quality Assurance and Underwriting to minimize error and omission exposures
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management or Related Field preferred
- 3+ years of direct leadership/management experience required, or 1+ years in the preceding job level required
- 6+ years of insurance sales experience required
- Track record of sales success, including cross-selling and/or referrals for Life Insurance
- Valid Personal Lines License upon hire required
- Valid Life License, which may vary based on state, within 1 year required
- Valid insurance designation(s) such as AAI, CISR, or ACSR within 1 year required
- In-depth knowledge of insurance practices, including the scope of an agent's authority
