About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze, optimize, and implement business processes with a focus on digitization, automation, customer experience, workflow optimization, and agile organizational structures
Lead client projects independently from planning through implementation
Ensure reliable adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budgets
Identify new opportunities and develop innovative solutions
Help shape the consulting portfolio and support business development
Support the development of forward-looking concepts for insurance clients
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners
Contribute to internal decision-making processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training as an insurance clerk and/or a degree in a relevant field such as business administration, business informatics, insurance/risk and insurance, industrial engineering, or comparable insurance-focused studies
3–5 years of experience as a project manager in the insurance sector, ideally in management consulting or at an insurance company
Knowledge of business process management, digitization, workflow and input management, lean management, or process optimization
Experience with insurance processes and with designing and sustainably implementing complex workflows efficiently
Lean Six Sigma or other Operational Excellence and process management certifications are a plus
Independent working style and proactive initiative
Empathy and the ability to advise clients as an equal partner
Creativity and solution orientation
Willingness to work remotely from a home office and to travel to client sites
Proficiency with MS Office and digital tools for project management and presentations
