About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process and organizational consulting: You analyze, optimize and implement business processes with a focus on digitalization, automation, customer experience, workflow optimization and agile organizational structures.
- Independent project leadership: You take full responsibility for client projects from planning to implementation, ensuring that schedules, quality and budgets are reliably met.
- Innovation and business development: You identify new opportunities, develop innovative solutions and actively help shape our consulting portfolio.
- Strategic consulting: You support the development of forward-looking concepts that drive our clients forward.
- Network management: You build long-term relationships with clients and partners and maintain your professional network sustainably.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education & degree: You have completed vocational training as an insurance clerk and/or a degree in a relevant field, e.g.: Business Administration (BWL), Business Informatics, Insurance / Risk & Insurance, Industrial Engineering or comparable programs with a focus on insurance.
- Professional experience: You have 3–5 years of experience as a project manager in the insurance sector, ideally in a management consultancy or an insurance company.
- Technical skills: Ideally you have knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM), digitalization, workflow and input management, Lean Management or process optimization. You bring experience in insurance processes and understand how to design complex workflows efficiently and implement them sustainably.
- Nice-to-have qualifications: Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma or other qualifications in Operational Excellence and process management are a plus and demonstrate your methodological expertise.
- Independence & initiative: You work autonomously, organize your projects independently and proactively contribute your own ideas.
- Empathy & collaborative consulting: You understand our clients’ needs, advise in a partnership-based manner and build trusting relationships.
- Creativity & solution orientation: You find innovative solutions for complex challenges and implement them successfully.
- Flexibility & mobility: You enjoy working remotely (up to 100% of your working time) and are willing to travel to client sites.
- Digital competence: You are proficient in MS Office and comfortable using digital tools for project management and presentations.
