About the role

  • Looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to drive technical initiatives across teams, build standalone web applications, in-app web applications within gaming apps, and integrations with service providers. Responsibilities include driving MVPs to production, architecting and implementing highly-available and performant games using Node.js, collaborating with frontend, UX/UI, AI engineers and product managers, enforcing code quality and testing, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, and ensuring scalability and reliability for global audience.

Requirements

  • -Experience: 7+ years in backend development with 3+ years in a senior/lead role
  • -Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript
  • -Experience with NestJS and Golang would be a plus
  • -Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, and Web Sockets
  • -Experience with backend testing frameworks like Jest
  • -Proficiency in both relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • -High load and concurrency experience
  • -Cloud technologies experience (e.g., AWS and Cloudflare) is a plus
  • -Distributed Systems using Microservices experience
  • -DevOps and CI/CD experience (e.g., GitHub Actions), Docker and Kubernetes
  • -Security: solid understanding of Node.js backend security
  • -Experience: 7+ years in backend development with 3+ years in a senior/lead role
