About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Support with medication management
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if required
- Carry out light household duties (cleaning, laundry, shopping)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition
- Maintain accurate daily records
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in care (preferred but not essential as training can be provided)
- Must be female due to client requirements
- Must be registered on the DBS Update Service (essential)
- A caring, patient, and reliable nature
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different client needs
