About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supporting individuals with daily living and community access
- Providing emotional support and promoting independence
- Supporting people during periods of anxiety or crisis using de-escalation techniques
- Encouraging participation in social and community activities
- Recording accurate care notes and reporting concerns
- Following care plans and risk assessments
- Working professionally with families and healthcare professionals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in mental health, community care or support work (preferred)
- Calm and confident approach in challenging situations
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassionate and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Good written documentation skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Access to your own vehicle
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to complete mandatory training
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
