About the role
- Administration and optimization of the IT infrastructure (servers, networks, security)
- Ensuring system availability and performance
- Maintenance and further development of cloud and on-premises environments
- Implementation and maintenance of backup and recovery solutions
- Support for IT projects and collaboration with internal teams
- Participation in exciting IT projects, e.g. introduction of new technologies
- Implementation and continuous development of security policies to ensure data protection.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, or equivalent relevant professional experience
- Experience administering Windows and/or Linux systems
- Knowledge of networking and virtualization technologies
- Experience with backup and security solutions
- Analytical thinking and an independent working style
- Strong communication skills and a team player mindset
- Basic knowledge of SQL and programming languages is an advantage. Relevant certifications such as MCSE or Azure Solutions Architect are desirable
- Self-responsibility and willingness to continuously update skills in current IT topics
