About the role

  • Independently handle ongoing accounts receivable accounting in both national and international contexts
  • Manage open items including various payment methods and prepare analyses and reports on receivables status
  • Support dunning processes and receivables management
  • Reconcile and clarify customer accounts in close cooperation with the sales team
  • Execute and post daily payment transactions
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closings and support during tax/audit reviews
  • Contribute to the preparation of the annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training or training as an accountant
  • Solid experience in accounts receivable, ideally within an internationally operating company
  • Confident use of MS Office and experience with common ERP systems — preferably abas
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Strong understanding of business contexts and analytical thinking
  • High self-motivation, a structured and meticulous working style, and absolute reliability
