About the role
- Independently handle ongoing accounts receivable accounting in both national and international contexts
- Manage open items including various payment methods and prepare analyses and reports on receivables status
- Support dunning processes and receivables management
- Reconcile and clarify customer accounts in close cooperation with the sales team
- Execute and post daily payment transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end closings and support during tax/audit reviews
- Contribute to the preparation of the annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or training as an accountant
- Solid experience in accounts receivable, ideally within an internationally operating company
- Confident use of MS Office and experience with common ERP systems — preferably abas
- Good written and spoken English
- Strong understanding of business contexts and analytical thinking
- High self-motivation, a structured and meticulous working style, and absolute reliability
