About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the gathering and understanding of business needs, translating requests into technical requirements;
- Design and maintain flowcharts and technical documentation (e.g., BPMN, sequence/architecture diagrams, data journeys and integrations);
- Conduct experiments and proofs of concept (PoC) to validate the feasibility of new AI technologies and automations;
- Implement and test solutions using generative AI, consuming APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock or equivalents), including basic evaluation of quality, cost and latency;
- Develop backend services and integrations (REST APIs) to put solutions into production and connect with internal systems;
- Participate in the delivery lifecycle within the Foundry ecosystem (publishing, versioning, traceability, asset organization and team collaboration);
- Apply best practices for version control, testing, documentation and reproducibility (Git, environments, logs and traceability);
- Monitor basic performance metrics (technical and product) and support adjustments/iterations based on data;
- Contribute to the organization’s data and AI culture by sharing learnings and proposing continuous improvements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (or related fields);
- Professional experience with integration and consumption of APIs (REST/JSON, authentication, error handling);
- Strong knowledge of Python (for API consumption, project organization and integration development);
- Backend fundamentals: building endpoints, structuring services and API best practices (e.g., FastAPI/Flask/Django or equivalent);
- Knowledge of SQL;
- Ability to create and maintain flowcharts and process/system documentation (e.g., BPMN, architecture diagrams and integration diagrams);
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows (pull requests, code review);
- Awareness of AI ethics, privacy and data security (LGPD and best practices);
- Experience (or practical familiarity) with enterprise data environments and working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with cloud and AI services (Google Vertex AI, Azure Foundry, AWS Bedrock/SageMaker);
- Writing Python scripts for data processing, model training/execution and automation routines;
- Developing/evolving machine learning models and/or pipelines (classification, regression, clustering, NLP);
- Knowledge of pipelines and orchestration (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster or similar);
- Basic knowledge of containers (Docker) and deployment (CI/CD);
- Fundamentals of observability/monitoring (logs, metrics, tracing);
- Experience with vector embeddings and semantic search (RAG), where applicable.
