About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement and refine quality assurance strategies
Manage the design, development, and execution of comprehensive testing frameworks
Lead the practical application and optimization of automation frameworks
Act as a pivotal liaison between the QA team and other departments
Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the QA team
Identify and lead initiatives to improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies
Maintain a deep understanding of current and emerging QA technologies and methodologies
Provide expert QA guidance in project planning and execution

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s or advanced degree preferred. Equivalent practical experience considered.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the IT field, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of testing strategies, methodologies, and automation in complex software development environments.
4+ years of leadership experience in QA roles, with a proven track record of managing high-performing QA teams and leading large-scale testing initiatives.
Expertise in QA automation frameworks and tools (Playwright, Selenium, TestComplete or equivalent)
Strong command of programming languages relevant to automation (Python, Java, C#).
Comfortable with AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor or equivalent).
Advanced project management skills.
Solid experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and DevOps methodologies.
