About the role
- Understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions
- Write code and implement proposed solutions
- Versioning and change management for data artifacts
- Build and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines
- Ensure data quality across systems
- Debug and analyze defects in data processes
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders on data analytics projects
- Contribute to projects that reshape data analytics and enable data-driven decision making for clients
Requirements
- Expertise in SQL
- Expertise in Python
- Expertise in ERD (database modeling)
- Experience with GCP (especially BigQuery, GCS, Cloud Function, Composer)
- Experience with DBT (3–5 years active/heavy hands-on)
- Knowledge of modern data technologies released in the last 2–3 years
- Ability to design and optimize conceptual and logical database models
- Ability to analyze system requirements and implement data strategies ensuring efficiency and security
- Experience improving system performance via testing, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements
- In-depth understanding of database structure principles
- Expertise in implementing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
- Deep knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
- 10+ years in data modeling
- 3+ years in Big Data (100TB+)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
- Strong debugging skills to analyze and fix defects in data processes
- Good team player and collaborator
