About the role

  • Collaborate with the Technical Lead or Product Development Manager (PDM) to develop comprehensive test strategies and plans that support project objectives and timelines.
  • Lead the detailed design and oversight of test execution, focusing on critical, high-impact testing activities.
  • Enhance and expand automation frameworks and practices.
  • Serve as the primary QA contact for development and product management teams, promoting effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Hybrid Role: New York City, NY 10121 (Candidate will be visiting office 2-3 days a week)
  • Around 10+ Years overall experience with ability to lead the project, mentor and guide the team, work allocation.
  • Experience with Java and Selenium as an Automation resource.
  • Hands on experience on TDD, BDD and cucumber will be add on.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
  • Hands-on experience in software quality assurance, demonstrating a track record of success in test strategy, planning, execution, and maintenance, including the creation of comprehensive test documentation.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete, QTP/UFT), including advanced scripting for automation and the development of custom testing frameworks.
  • Proven leadership in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with a solid ability to drive QA strategies within rapid development cycles and iterative testing environments.
  • Expertise in continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines, with a strong understanding of how to optimize automated tests for efficiency and speed within CI/CD processes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
