Design, build, and test secure, high-quality software solutions
Write clean, efficient, and testable code meeting project requirements
Collaborate with product managers and developers to brainstorm and deliver new features
Participate in the full development lifecycle from design to deployment
Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing software
Help deploy applications into production environments
Join daily stand-ups and agile ceremonies
Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Manage multiple tasks and contribute to collaborative problem-solving

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of software development experience; more experience if lacking a degree
Bachelor's degree in progress or completed
Active IRS MBI clearance with IRS GFE (Public Trust)
Strong Java backend development experience, including design patterns and best practices
Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA
Front-end experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience building and documenting APIs; Swagger knowledge is a plus
Exposure to Java, Node.js, Python, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, or OpenShift
Experience with Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus IQ, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and agile teams
ICCE and eServices experience is a bonus
Strong communication and time-management skills
Team-player mindset and collaborative problem-solving approach
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
