About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements for a SharePoint portal
- Facilitate ongoing discussions to “massage” and iterate on requirements until alignment is achieved
- Design and build a modern SharePoint Online portal with a strong focus on user experience and usability
- Configure and integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Teams to support collaboration and document management
- Develop site architecture, navigation, page layouts, and content structures
- Create user-friendly interfaces, dashboards, and workflows within SharePoint
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), gather feedback, and implement enhancements
- Provide guidance and best practices for SharePoint and Teams usage
- Ensure proper permissions, governance, and document organization are in place
- Train end users and provide post-launch support as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience designing and building SharePoint Online portals
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams integration and collaboration features
- Experience working directly with business users to gather and refine requirements
- Strong front-end development and design skills within SharePoint (pages, web parts, UI/UX)
- Experience conducting and supporting UAT processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate business needs into functional and visually appealing solutions
