About the role
- Provide overall operational and technical leadership for various utility consulting programs
- Represent UDC to prospective and existing customers
- Work with utility personnel at all levels of the organization
- Facilitate presentations and conduct workshops
- Manage deliverables for the consulting projects
- Coordinate and monitor consulting projects from initiation through delivery
- Serve as liaison between UDC and the client
- Identify operational system interfaces and other non-functional requirements
- Work individually or within a team on technology consulting projects
- Serve as a mentor to senior and entry-level consultants
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent utility and consulting work experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working in support of related utility consulting or large-scale process/technology projects
- Knowledge of electric, gas and/or water utilities
- Understanding of the Esri product suite
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications and customer relations skills
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals
