About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support implementation, configuration, optimisation, and ongoing use of Yardi solutions for Investment Management clients
Participate in full-cycle implementations, including discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, data migration, testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation support
Advise clients using fund accounting, property accounting, and real estate investment operations knowledge
Understand investment structures, ownership arrangements, financial processes, reporting requirements, and operational workflows
Translate business and accounting requirements into Yardi configurations, workflows, reports, and implementation plans
Review systems and business processes to identify inefficiencies, control gaps, configuration issues, and improvement opportunities
Support data conversion, preparation, validation, reconciliation, and migration activities
Support integration of financial information between property-level accounting and investment- or fund-level reporting
Manage or support system testing, User Acceptance Testing, defect resolution, and rollout activities
Deliver client-specific system and process training
Develop, validate, and improve financial and operational reports
Maintain project documentation covering requirements, decisions, risks, testing results, and configuration details
Foster client relationships through responsive service, trusted advice, product adoption, and value opportunities
Collaborate with colleagues across the UK, US, Europe, and APAC
Travel to client offices when required for implementation, training, or advisory engagements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Three or more years of hands-on Yardi experience in accounting, systems, implementation, administration, support, or consulting
Strong working knowledge of Yardi Voyager and core Yardi accounting functionality
Strong understanding of general ledger processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end activities, and accounting controls
Experience with property accounting and fund or investment accounting concepts and processes
Ability to understand real estate ownership structures and relationships among property activity, investment entities, funds, and investor reporting
Experience working directly with clients, customers, or internal business stakeholders
Experience gathering requirements, managing projects, resolving issues, or improving processes
Experience translating accounting and operational requirements into system configurations, workflows, reports, or technical requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data review, discrepancy identification, root-cause investigation, and practical recommendations
Strong project organisation skills and ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and client commitments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to explain accounting and system concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative, responsive, and accountable in a geographically dispersed global team
Experience with Yardi Investment Management and/or Yardi Investment Accounting preferred but not required
Experience implementing, configuring, administering, or supporting Yardi Investment Management solutions preferred
Previous consulting or professional-services experience preferred
Experience with real estate funds, joint ventures, partnerships, investment vehicles, ownership structures, consolidations, or investor reporting preferred
Experience with Yardi P2P, PayScan, System Administration, reporting tools, data conversion, Forecast Manager, or Construction Manager preferred
Accounting qualification or progress toward a recognised accounting qualification advantageous but not required
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, adaptable, teachable, and comfortable learning unfamiliar areas
