About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The .NET Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web and enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Work within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in .NET application development.
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and Web Services.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, database design, stored procedures, and query optimization.
- Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM frameworks.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern front-end frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure is an advantage.
- Experience working in Agile development environments preferred.
