Associate, Human Factors
-30- Forensic EngineeringAssociate in Human Factors at 30 Forensic Engineering evaluating driver performance and conducting technical analysis for forensic cases. Works closely with senior professionals and contributes to client consultations.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform site examinations to gather field measurements
- Conduct literature reviews to synthesize research and evidence into cohesive opinions
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports based upon investigations and analysis
- Effectively communicate investigation and analysis findings to colleagues
- Provide expert testimony in court
- Manage and complete investigation tasks on time and within budget
- Participate in publishing and client meetings
- Develop understanding of the firm's core values and strategic plan
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post graduate degree in human factors, kinesiology or engineering (with human factors content) with emphasis in driver performance, reaction time, perception and response, is preferred
- Work experience in forensic engineering and human factors / ergonomics an asset
- Professional certification with the Canadian College for the Certification of Professional Ergonomists (CCCPE), or equivalent, an asset
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
