About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build an engagement strategy that supports awareness and adoption of 1Password's developer tools.
- Work alongside existing customer success, engineering, and social teams to shape 1Password's public community interactions.
- Foster and participate in security, AI, and 1Password communities.
- Listen and respond to ongoing conversations across social platforms.
- Cultivate close relationships with 1Password developer tools users and support them in talking about 1Password.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in technical roles including software or platform engineering, community management, support, solution engineering, or other fields.
- Experience engaging in sensitive and complex community situations, in public online and in person, with humility, empathy, judgment, tact, and humor.
- A clear written and verbal communication style.
- Proven experience organizing in person and online events, asynchronous projects, or long-running cross-functional efforts.
- Experience listening for insights, requests, and opportunities in technical conversations, compiling those insights into actionable feedback, and advocating for it to be implemented within your organization.
