About the role
- Support the travel and expense process and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and help problem solve
- Work directly with the Manager, Travel & Expenses to support moderately complex finance projects and programs
- Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policies, and timely reimbursement
- Set up and maintain user accounts, including assigning and monitoring virtual cards and spend programs
- Manage travel and expense mailboxes, delivering prompt, professional support to employee inquiries
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of SOPs, FAQs, policies, and documentation, and assist in delivering employee training as needed
- Collaborate with the Manager of Travel & Expense and external vendors to efficiently resolve travel-related issues
- Maintain the monthly travel dashboard, ad-hoc management reporting on travel and expense, and provide cross functional reporting support
- Analyze, validate, and interpret travel and expense data from internal systems and vendor platforms to identify process improvements and support system enhancements
- Monitor compliance with company T&E policies, investigating discrepancies and ensuring timely follow-up
- Prepare and analyze expense account reconciliations, manage monthly accruals, track prepayments, and deliver ad hoc financial reports to support business decisions
- Support the Manager of Travel & Expense with moderately complex projects and programs (e.g., system implementations)
Requirements
- Over 2 years of experience in Finance Operations, with direct expertise in Travel & Expense administration
- Strong foundation in financial systems, accounting principles, and financial analysis
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders across cross-functional teams
- Track record of successfully managing multiple priorities while maintaining keen attention to detail
- Skilled in presenting complex data in a clear and effective manner
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of accuracy and precision
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, data visualization tools, and expense management systems
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable
- Ability to excel in fast-paced environments
