About the role
- Define and own the monetization strategy for 1Password’s developer platform
- Build the business plan for market segmentation and revenue forecasting
- Establish a pricing and packaging operating cadence
- Create the go-to-market strategy for platform capabilities
- Partner with teams to build messaging and conversion paths
- Drive measurable outcomes across the funnel
- Define how partner distribution monetizes
- Translate monetization needs into product requirements
- Build the insight engine for analytics and decision systems
- Build and lead a high-impact team
Requirements
- Senior leadership experience owning monetization/pricing/packaging for developer-facing products
- Proven track record designing and executing monetization for PLG + enterprise motions
- Strong cross-functional leadership ability
- Deep empathy for developers and the realities of adoption
- Analytical rigor and comfort building models
- High standards for trust in security, privacy, and reliability
- Executive presence and crisp communication
