About the role

  • Support Engineering teams in developing features for the Heartbeat energy management app for end customers
  • Diagnose and fix bugs in Flutter applications deployed on Web, Android, and iOS using error reporting tools
  • Help maintain test coverage and code quality with tools like Codecov and DCM
  • Assist in release management and pipeline automation, including automating parts of the GitHub Actions deployment pipeline
  • Collaborate across product, hardware, and software teams to empower users to track, understand, and optimize home energy systems

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a university and can work up to 20 hours per week
  • Studying a relevant subject (e.g. Business, Computer Science, Design, Energy, or similar)
  • Experience with Flutter
  • First touchpoints with writing tests, managing code quality, automating release processes, and/or debugging mobile applications
  • General understanding of how software systems work and communicate via APIs
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams
  • Proactive, curious to learn, and hands-on mindset
  • Confident in English (company language); German is a plus
  • Desire to make an impact in the climate tech industry
