About the role
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of features: discovery, requirement definition, development, release, and iteration
- Translate product requirements into clear technical specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Work with engineering teams to evaluate technical feasibility, trade-offs, and implementation approaches
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews (without being the architect)
- Partner closely with Engineering, Product Design, Data, and Operations teams to deliver high-quality features
- Align stakeholders on scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks
- Facilitate backlog grooming, planning, and prioritization discussions
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on reach, impact, effort, and technical constraints
- Ensure on-time delivery while maintaining engineering quality and scalability
- Identify and mitigate technical risks early (performance, reliability, security, etc.)
- Define success metrics and work with data teams to track outcomes
- Use data and user feedback to iterate and improve released features
- Continuously improve product and development processes.
Requirements
- Experienced as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, APIs, system integrations, and basic system architecture
- Hands-on experience working with engineering teams
- Ability to write clear PRDs, technical requirements, and user stories
- Comfortable discussing trade-offs between speed, quality, and scalability
- Familiar with web or mobile application architectures
- Experience working with APIs, backend services, and databases
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus
- Ability to read technical diagrams and understand engineering proposals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong ownership mindset and problem-solving skills
- Experience in SaaS, platform, or infrastructure-related products is nice to have.
- Background in engineering, computer science, or technical roles is also nice to have.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and A/B testing is a plus.
