About the role
- Source high-quality startups across 16VC’s focus sectors
- Leverage your network to generate proprietary deal flow
- Represent 16VC within founder and investor ecosystems
- Conduct diligence (market, product, tech, founder-market fit)
- Prepare investment memos for IC review
- Participate in investment committee discussions
- Provide strategic guidance to portfolio founders
- Help with hiring, GTM strategy, partnerships, and fundraising
- Make customer, talent, and investor introductions
- Strengthen 16VC’s presence in AI & emerging tech communities
- Host roundtables, demo sessions, or founder events
- Contribute thought leadership where relevant
Requirements
- Has founded, scaled, or held senior roles in venture-backed startups
- Has deep exposure to AI, SaaS, Web3, FinTech, or Deep Tech
- Has invested as an angel or worked within a VC fund
- Possesses a strong founder and investor network
- Thinks long-term and aligns with 16VC’s thesis
- Bonus if you:
- Have exited a startup
- Have technical depth (engineering, AI, infra, etc.)
- Are active in early-stage communities
