User Researcher

• Design and implement research throughout the product lifecycle, from early stage discovery and strategic research through iterative prototype testing and post-launch measurement
• Proactively collaborate with design, product, clinical, and commercial teams to define a research roadmap that answers high impact product and strategy questions
• Build on past research and evolve insights over time, driving impact by effectively communicating findings to cross-functional partners and stakeholders
• Take ownership in defining the role of UX Research at Spring Health as an early member of the team, including building out processes and communications strategies that allow us to scale and grow our capabilities responsibly and efficiently

Senior UX Researcher

• Take ownership of end-to-end research studies, including scoping, participant recruitment, methodology selection, facilitation, and analysis, across the full product lifecycle.
• Frame research questions that address product uncertainties and business goals in collaboration with product, design, engineering, and growth.
• Contribute to roadmap planning by surfacing user needs, pain points, and opportunity areas grounded in data.
• Conduct mixed-methods research (e.g., interviews, usability tests, surveys, field studies, A/B testing, etc.) and synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Support product teams with rapid evaluative testing, continuous discovery practices, and post-launch learnings.
• Partner with data analysts and designers to triangulate findings and ensure insights reflect user behavior, attitudes, and context.
• Translate insights into frameworks, personas, journey maps, or recommendations that support product decisions and roadmap prioritization.
• Present findings clearly and persuasively to cross-functional teams, fostering a shared understanding of user needs.
• Work closely with design, product, engineering, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure user insights are integrated into design and business processes.

UX Researcher

• Lead and execute qualitative and mixed-method research across the product lifecycle (discovery through validation)
• Identify customer needs, jobs-to-be-done, pain points, and decision drivers
• Conduct concept testing, usability evaluations, and in-market learning
• Conduct exploratory research to identify opportunity areas and unmet needs
• Synthesize findings into clear points of view, hypotheses, and learning agendas
• Support product and experience strategy through evidence-based recommendations
• Analyze and improve end-to-end customer experiences across channels, teams, and systems
• Map customer journeys, service flows, and dependencies to identify friction and breakdowns
• Connect customer pain points to internal processes, policies, handoffs, and enabling systems
• Partner cross-functionally to identify opportunities for simplification and service improvement
• Facilitate working sessions and workshops to align stakeholders and advance solutions
• Translate research into clear, actionable recommendations tied to business decisions
• Develop executive-ready readouts, reports, and narratives
• Apply appropriate research methods with sound judgment on scope, rigor, and timing
• Use AI tools responsibly to accelerate research planning, synthesis, and analysis while maintaining integrity and quality

Lead UX Researcher

• Conduct user research and analysis to understand user needs, behaviors, motivations, and pain points related to digital products or services
• Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research methods including interviews, surveys, usability testing, contextual inquiries, and user journey analysis
• Translate research findings into actionable insights and design recommendations that guide product and user experience improvements
• Design and prototype user interfaces and user experience concepts that are intuitive, efficient, and aligned with user needs and business goals
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and stakeholders to integrate user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle
• Evaluate product designs through usability testing and user feedback, iterating to improve usability and overall product effectiveness
• Develop research documentation including user personas, journey maps, usability reports, and research summaries
• Advocate for user-centered design practices across project teams and organizational initiatives
• Stay informed on UX research methodologies, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve research practices

Quantitative User Experience Researcher II

• Execute mixed-methods research to generate actionable insights that inform product and business decisions.
• Plan and run end-to-end studies including research design, participant recruiting, moderation, analysis, and synthesis.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to translate research findings into product requirements.
• Select and apply appropriate research methods based on product maturity and decision needs.
• Communicate research insights in concise formats tailored to stakeholders.

UX Researcher II – Mixed Methods

• Coordinating work with the point of contact in the UX Research team, the rest of the team, and stakeholders to drive and support research projects.
• Supporting the UX Research point of contact in scoping projects as requested (e.g., to determine project goals, methodologies, logistics, and timelines).
• Developing an understanding of the product, its context, and the research objectives.
• Coordinating with UX Research point of contact to manage and execute all phases of the research process, including creating materials, coordinating research operations, overseeing participant recruitment/survey distribution, scheduling and running research sessions (using interpretation support when appropriate) or data collection, and doing analysis and report-writing.
• Delivering comprehensive research results, translating findings into actionable insights that can inform product and decisions.
• Communicating research findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear and compelling ways.
