• Troubleshoot, construct and maintain high and low voltage equipment that is either energized or de-energized
• Maintenance and repair of plant HVAC systems
• Participate in hands-on training, required classroom training and computer interactive training programs, as directed by management
• Successfully complete a 4-year apprentice program and qualify for Electrician Journeyman
• Travel to other locations may be required
• Work in and around energized/rotating equipment, confined spaces, vibrating equipment, heights, noise levels requiring ear protection, presence of chemical fumes, lead and dust requiring use of a respirator and work in a wide range of ambient temperatures, both hot and cold
• Work off of ladders and scaffolding, in elevated positions, and may be required to handle asbestos, lead and other hazardous materials
• Walk, climb stairs and ladders throughout the plant

Apprentice or Journey Worker Electrician

• Provide consecutive interpretation services between English and Haitian Creole across various industries (medical, legal, customer service, etc.)
• Ensure complete accuracy, clarity, and neutrality in interpretation—preserving tone, intent, and emotion
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
• Manage call flow professionally, including respectfully intervening when clarification is needed
• Demonstrate emotional intelligence, especially in high-pressure or emotionally charged interactions
• Apply short term memory retention, active listening, and note taking techniques to manage longer exchanges
• Remain strictly within the interpreter’s role without offering personal opinions or advice
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and feedback sessions to maintain and enhance performance
• Utilize basic computer tools (MS Office, internal platforms) to effectively manage calls and log activity

Bilingual Interpreter – English, Haitian Creole

• Own the net-new and expansion revenue targets for DeepL’s Language & Translation portfolio across the region.
• Act as the strategic overlay on complex, high-value enterprise accounts, building robust pipelines in collaboration with regional GTM teams.
• Engage confidently with Localization Program Managers, Language Operations Leads, IT Architects, and Procurement stakeholders.
• Uncover customer pain points around content volumes, TMS setups, and Translation Service Provider (LSP) relationships, translating them into high-value commercial proposals.
• Build and deliver the commercial "before-and-after" narrative.
• Demonstrate the hard ROI of transitioning from manual-heavy, fragmented localization states to a streamlined, DeepL-centric future that delivers massive efficiency gains.
• Serve as the commercial quarterback, aligning Pre-Sales, Product, Legal, and Security teams to accelerate the sales cycle.
• Confidently handle high-level positioning on data privacy, security posture, and compliance architecture to navigate risk-averse IT and procurement hurdles.
• Develop regional playbooks, value-selling frameworks, and ROI models to upskill the broader GTM team on language technology.
• Feed structured market and competitive insights back to Product and Engineering to influence our enterprise roadmap.
