• Determine corporate tax results, prepare tax returns, and manage routine tax filings (VAT, local taxes, IFU, DAS).
• Calculate corporate income tax (CIT) charges, handle payments and refunds, and drive Operating Planning and cash tax forecasts.
• Support accounting teams with deferred taxes (Longview tool) and provide guidance on the tax treatment of invoices.
• Extract SAP data to prepare transfer pricing documentation and update the Reliable Audit Trail (PAF / France 2026 electronic invoicing).
• Provide support during tax audits by preparing responses for tax authorities and manage the team's cost center purchase orders (POs).

Tax Compliance Officer

• Responsibility for European VAT compliance ensuring timely and accurate filing of VAT returns.
• Provide advice and support to clients on all Indirect Tax related matters.
• Proactively advise and support the clients on all indirect taxation consultancy matters.
• Assist client with VAT audits and compliance checks.
• Manage the preparation of indirect tax returns.
• Prepare and perform a first level review of the quarterly VAT tax returns and Annual adjustment.

• Ensure process quality and identify areas for process improvement within the VAT compliance framework and work with stakeholders to implement streamlined and efficient procedures.
• Lead efforts to leverage automation and technology solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in Indirect Tax compliance processes.
• Work collaboratively with the Software Team to identify and implement software tools and systems that streamline data collection, reporting, and reconciliation for VAT and Sales Tax requirements.
• Stay up to date with e-invoicing regulations and mandates in France.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of e-invoicing requirements into the company's billing and accounting systems, ensuring compliance with all electronic invoicing standards.
• Assess potential risks and opportunities related to Indirect Taxes and implement measures to mitigate risks and maximise tax efficiencies.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects related to Indirect Taxation or process improvement.
• Coordinate and oversee the execution of AVASK FR operations in collaboration with Head Office.
• Ensure that the company has adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities.

Business & Indirect Tax Manager

• Participate in setting up the tax strategy — identify and implement tax optimization opportunities, ensure the correct tax treatment is applied across the group, and ensure the organizational structure remains aligned with the tax strategy.
• Assist Finance & Accounting teams with tax computation and tax accounting — supervise calculations, review filings, ensure timely submissions, and liaise with external advisors.
• Coordinate tax compliance across Europe — partner with the accounting team and local tax compliance advisors.
• Own product tax analysis — define applicable tax treatments and reporting obligations for Qonto’s new products in France and abroad, and develop the client-facing tax information that accompanies them.
• Manage transfer pricing requirements, documentation, reporting and computations across the group.
• Act as the bridge between tax and the rest of the company — collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Product, and Legal teams; represent Qonto with tax authorities; and manage relationships with external advisors.

Tax Manager

• Work closely with the Regional Tax Manager on regional tax projects, including M&A and corporate restructuring initiatives
• Lead and coordinate tax-driven business initiatives at local and regional level for the countries under responsibility
• Monitor new European tax directives and legislative developments, assess their impact and ensure correct implementation in the relevant countries
• Provide corporate income tax planning, reporting and advisory support for the assigned countries
• Deliver the full range of Corporate Income Tax (CIT) services, including direct responsibility for CIT compliance in France
• Coordinate and oversight of the CIT compliance process for the remaining countries in the portfolio
• Manage tax provisioning and reporting in line with local and US GAAP requirements
• Support indirect tax compliance processes as required
• Coordinate and support the preparation of local Transfer Pricing documentation
• Lead and manage tax controversy and tax audits
• Act as a key contact with local tax authorities and external advisors in the countries under responsibility
