Shipping Coordinator

• Ensure the efficient movement of goods in and out of the facility
• Verify shipments, manage inventory documentation, coordinate logistics with carriers, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory shipping standards
• Coordinate daily outbound shipments of finished goods and materials
• Generate shipping documents including bills of lading (BOL), packing slips, shipping labels, and customs paperwork (if applicable)
• Schedule and coordinate pickups with freight carriers (LTL, FTL, air, sea)
• Unload and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders
• Inspect materials for damage, quantity discrepancies, and product quality
• Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP or inventory management systems
• Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups, track shipments, and resolve transit delays
• Ensure shipments meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements (e.g., DOT, OSHA, ITAR, ISO)
• Liaise with production, procurement, planning, customer service, and quality teams
• Assist in prioritizing orders based on production and customer schedules
