• Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies to communicate subject matter to students
• Current certifications in subjects taught
• Lead applicable certification test preparation sessions once a term
• Provide regular student support sessions when needed
• Responsible for updating applicable course shells, master templates including syllabus, exams banks, discussion questions, assignments, and assessments
• Contribute to the selection and development of instructional materials in accordance with course objectives
• Contribute to maintaining currency of curriculum, syllabi, and textbooks
• Review training material/deliverables and provide recommendations on the accuracy of and relevancy of content of curriculum and performance support tools

Cyber Security Instructor

• Own a meaningful slice of our defensive infrastructure end-to-end.
• Design, execute, and follow through on security awareness programs and phishing simulations.
• Participate in Endpoint Detection & Response rollout and ongoing operations.
• Revamp our network protections for Zero Trust network access and DNS security.
• Manage and operate our EASM platform, including continuous monitoring, finding triage, and remediation coordination.
• Coordinate with our third-party penetration testing partner for scoping, logistics, findings review, and remediation tracking.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts across our stack — SIEM, EDR telemetry, and related tooling.

• Own and execute Slingshot’s cybersecurity strategy across enterprise, product, and operational environments.
• Lead readiness and implementation for CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, and related government cybersecurity requirements.

• Assess alignment with Zero Trust Architecture principles including identity, credentialing, encryption, and segmentation
• Review STIG compliance, vulnerability scanning posture, patch cadence, and configuration baselines
• Evaluate secure CI/CD pipelines, SBOMs, and supply-chain risk mitigation approaches
