• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions across UI, API, integration, and end-to-end workflows.
• Continuously expand automated test coverage using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Partner closely with developers to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and ensure quality is built into every release.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and quality processes that support rapid product development.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to review requirements, acceptance criteria, and user stories to ensure clear, testable outcomes.
• Validate front-end, back-end, and AI-enabled functionality across multiple products and platforms.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using established quality assurance methodologies.
• Assess production readiness and validate release quality prior to deployment.
• Develop and execute API, integration, and backend validation testing using modern testing frameworks and tools.
• Verify data integrity, system interoperability, and reliability across connected services and external integrations.
• Design and execute performance and scalability testing scenarios to evaluate system responsiveness and stability.
• Troubleshoot issues related to APIs, databases, and distributed system interactions.
• Support weekly production releases through testing coordination, validation, and stakeholder communication.
• Deliver demonstrations of completed functionality and provide feedback to development teams.
• Analyze quality trends and recommend improvements to testing strategies, tooling, and processes.
• Help shape the future of quality engineering at Slingshot by introducing new tools, frameworks, and best practices.

QA Automation Engineer

• Provide optimum test solutions and strategies through the effective management of people, systems, procedures and equipment.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement within Test Engineering by harnessing new technologies in the areas of systems, equipment, and processes.
• Provide exceptional support to customers, team members, and shareholders.

Test Engineering Manager

• Supports the Test Engineer in the development and commission of test solutions executing the test qualification of the fixture and program as per the specific system qualification process.
• Responsibility for providing the deliverables to support the solution in production to both the Test Support Function and Manufacturing Operations.
• Assists in the build and manufacture of testers, fixtures and environmental tooling as required to meet the customer expectations.
• The Technician Engineer provides the interface to the Test Support function providing comprehensive documentation and training for all test solutions implemented.
• Provides the interface to the Manufacturing function providing comprehensive documentation and coordinating training and education for all test operations implemented.
• Through working with the Test Support function monitor and contribute to the improvement of Test Yields, Efficiency, Intermittencies and Uptime providing accurate reporting and clear targets for improvement.
• In conjunction with the Test Engineer strives to consistently upgrade the test process balancing cost, coverage with the goal of providing an optimized and cost efficient test process.
• Works closely with manufacturing and test support to ensure prioritization of support activities. He/ She will be responsible for coordinating the timetable for test readiness based on the weekly production schedule through the appropriate Test Support staff.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Test Engineer

• Own QA strategy and automation across API, integration, UI, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright/Cypress and Postman/Rest Assured.
• Validate REST APIs, event-driven workflows, database integrity, and AWS services.
• Perform SQL-based database validation across PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Ensure testing coverage for audit trails, workflow transitions, and role-based access controls.
• Collaborate within Agile delivery teams and support CI/CD testing practices.

Senior QA Automation Engineer

• Responsible for ensuring the quality of existing and new features through both manual and automated testing and use of continuous integration techniques where practical
• Partner closely with the Business Analysts to create acceptance criteria for the user stories
• Leverages the acceptance to create tests that can be automated
• Produces test scripts, materials and regression and performance test packs to test new and amended software or services
• Specifies requirements for environment, data, resources and tools
• Evaluates and plans for regression and performance testing for new releases of 3rd party/cloud based solutions and any Unum specific configurations or customization
• Partners closely with team members to assist with and help drive test automation through all phases of testing (such as unit, system, integration and regression)
• Is an advocate for Quality Assurance best practices across the entire team throughout the deliverables
• Analyzes and reports test activities and results using industry best practices that align with the companies reporting and metrics needs
• Responsible for creating test strategies, test plans, test cases, test coverage, and test execution reports to support the Quality Assurance effort in testing features that are part of application and/or solution changes
• Creates and maintains traceability records, from test cases back to requirements
• Communicates daily with the Scrum Master or Team Lead and the agile team on progress made and planned progress for the coming day; reports any impediments blocking progress
• Participates in sizing and estimation activities within the agile team
• Collaborates with the Team (Business Analysts, Designers, Software Engineers, Architects, etc.) to ensure that the team defines, configures, builds, and produces features and solutions that meet or exceed what the Product Owner is expecting
• Automates testing of software to industry standards
• Create and maintain appropriate test artifacts for the team (Test Plans, Sprint Plans etc.)
• May direct the activities of onshore and offshore testing teams and be accountable for ensuring that they adhere to the teams standards
• Ensures that the latest project progress is known to the agile team by ensuring Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools are up to date and participating in daily standups outlining progress made, progress planned and detailing impediments
• Thinks with the mind of the end customer at all times, ensuring solutions seek to improve the customer experience and delight their customers

Automation Test Engineer II

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and technical specifications
• Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, and performance testing
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues
• Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of defects and issues
• Continuously improve and optimize the automation framework and testing processes
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA automation

• Perform system integration and verification / validation testing of system requirements
• Support technical planning and evaluations of alternatives including cost and risk, supportability, and manufacturability
• Communicate task status with clarity and brevity
• Identify, articulate, and manage risks
• Manage internal and external relationships
• Create and maintain various reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, software, and test engineers, to ensure a cohesive and effective system design
