QA Automation Engineer

• Lead validation and verification activities for SmartSense IoT sensors, gateways, and connected monitoring devices across EVT, DVT, and PVT development phases
• Execute smoke testing, regression testing, and system-level validation covering hardware platforms, firmware functionality, and system software behavior
• Validate wireless connectivity technologies including BLE, Zigbee, LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, and other IoT communication protocols
• Perform device validation under real-world operating conditions: stress testing, soak testing, field testing, environmental testing, and long-term reliability testing
• Investigate failures using hardware debugging tools, device logs, telemetry data, and data analysis; drive root cause analysis across hardware, firmware, and system layers
• Review hardware designs and schematics produced by contract manufacturers, identifying potential validation risks and testability concerns early in the design cycle
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to support hardware validation, manufacturing test readiness, and system-level troubleshooting
• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and validation pipelines that test device behavior, connectivity, telemetry workflows, and system integrations
• Develop hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test systems and automated device test rigs that enable scalable, repeatable validation
• Build and maintain automated environments using Python (pytest), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines to integrate validation into engineering workflows
• Own the automation strategy and roadmap, driving continuous improvement in test coverage, execution speed, and infrastructure reliability
• Apply BDD testing approaches and structured validation methodologies to ensure comprehensive and traceable test coverage
• Provide technical direction and structured guidance to the extended test engineering team, enabling more independent and effective execution
• Work closely with hardware, firmware, software, and product teams to reproduce issues, verify fixes, and continuously improve system reliability
• Ensure validation processes meet regulated and compliance-driven environment requirements, including traceability, documentation, and audit readiness
• Document validation strategies, test results, hardware architecture insights, and design decisions to support scalable development practices

Senior Hardware Validation, Automation Engineer

• Leverage AI (Playwright MCP) to accelerate test automation, refactoring, debugging, and defect triage
• Build scalable, reusable automation frameworks for API (REST/GraphQL) and UI testing
• Develop and execute automated suites for functional, regression, and integration coverage
• Improve test stability by identifying and resolving flaky tests through root cause analysis
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), enabling quality gates and continuous testing
• Partner with engineering teams to enhance product testability and streamline quality practices
• Track and report quality metrics (coverage, stability, defect leakage) using Practitest
• Manage and scale test execution via Selenium Grid and distributed environments

Automation Engineer 5 – AI Accelerated API, UI Automation

• Tests, creates, implements and supports robotics process and desktop automations
• Performs design, scripting, testing, implementing, maintaining and modifying automations of moderate complexity, significance, and risk
• Creates comprehensive test plans and test cases; defines automation data needs across systems and creates a plan to coordinate this test data
• Creates and executes performance tests to ensure the expected automation performance levels are achieved
• Performs, and at times, leads clients and technical staff to investigate, analyze, and resolve technical problems
• Writes documentation that describes automation capabilities and operating procedures
• Estimates and defines time tables and project tasks; analyzes and estimates cost and time
• Conducts analysis of organizational needs for the creation and implementation of automation solutions; participates in feasibility assessments of new automation opportunities

Automation Engineer

• Execute automation opportunities from concept to production deployment.
• Support equipment mechanization and automation from business case to implementation.
• Improve equipment uptime through troubleshooting, design changes, vendor partnerships, and hypercare.
• Work with sites and maintain an automation roadmap for value streams.
• Develop processes to transition from manual to automated operations.

Senior Design Automation Engineer

• Creates comprehensive test plans and test cases; defines automation data needs across systems and creates a plan to coordinate this test data

• Work closely with a team of design and fabrication scientists to lay out masks for next generation ion traps
• Develop and demonstrate scripting and automation capabilities/tools for routing as well as verification in advance of their need that will accelerate our layout timeline
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure designs are consistent with good layout practices
• Work with our foundries to ensure design and tapeout is consistent with their PDKs and/or best practices

Advanced Layout Automation Engineer

• Design, develop, and deploy unattended Power Automate (RPA) workflows to automate business processes
• Collaborate with business and technology partners to identify automation opportunities and define requirements
• Build scalable, secure, and maintainable automation solutions aligned with enterprise standards
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing automations for performance and reliability
• Ensure solutions meet compliance, security, and audit requirements in a regulated environment
• Document processes, workflows, and technical solutions clearly for ongoing support and governance
• Participate in testing, deployment, and post-production support activities
• Cross train to help support Automation Anywhere automation solutions
• Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to automation practices and tools
