QA Automation Engineer

• Lead validation and verification activities for SmartSense IoT sensors, gateways, and connected monitoring devices across EVT, DVT, and PVT development phases
• Execute smoke testing, regression testing, and system-level validation covering hardware platforms, firmware functionality, and system software behavior
• Validate wireless connectivity technologies including BLE, Zigbee, LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, and other IoT communication protocols
• Perform device validation under real-world operating conditions: stress testing, soak testing, field testing, environmental testing, and long-term reliability testing
• Investigate failures using hardware debugging tools, device logs, telemetry data, and data analysis; drive root cause analysis across hardware, firmware, and system layers
• Review hardware designs and schematics produced by contract manufacturers, identifying potential validation risks and testability concerns early in the design cycle
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to support hardware validation, manufacturing test readiness, and system-level troubleshooting
• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and validation pipelines that test device behavior, connectivity, telemetry workflows, and system integrations
• Develop hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test systems and automated device test rigs that enable scalable, repeatable validation
• Build and maintain automated environments using Python (pytest), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines to integrate validation into engineering workflows
• Own the automation strategy and roadmap, driving continuous improvement in test coverage, execution speed, and infrastructure reliability
• Apply BDD testing approaches and structured validation methodologies to ensure comprehensive and traceable test coverage
• Provide technical direction and structured guidance to the extended test engineering team, enabling more independent and effective execution
• Work closely with hardware, firmware, software, and product teams to reproduce issues, verify fixes, and continuously improve system reliability
• Ensure validation processes meet regulated and compliance-driven environment requirements, including traceability, documentation, and audit readiness
• Document validation strategies, test results, hardware architecture insights, and design decisions to support scalable development practices

Senior Hardware Validation, Automation Engineer

• Participate in site investigations to gather information about the client’s systems, equipment and instruments to develop project plans and cost estimates to proactively maintain and upgrade the system;
• Develop process logic for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in the monitoring and control of water and wastewater treatment systems;
• Design graphical screens that represent process equipment and instrumentation in the Human Machine Interface (HMI) software packages used by our clients;
• Design graphical screens for the Operator Interface Terminals (OITs) utilized in our SCADA systems;
• Create automated reports, via specialized reporting software, to collect process information monitored by the SCADA system for use by the client or submission to regulatory agencies;
• Participate in the installation (oversight of contractors and guidance in wiring terminations), checkout and modification of the field wiring associated with the equipment and instruments connected to the SCADA system;
• Configure and calibrate instrumentation, including level, pressure, flow, temperature, process analyzers and more, and connecting to the SCADA system;
• Configure and commission industrial networking hardware, including Ethernet switches, wireless access points and licensed frequency radios;
• Participate in the testing and startup of the process equipment, instruments and SCADA system to ensure the SCADA system monitors and controls the equipment as intended;
• Train operations personnel on the use, maintenance and troubleshooting of the SCADA system hardware, software and installation;
• Participate in QA/QC activities for both the design deliverables produced by the design team and the code developed by the controls team.
• Understand that safety is paramount and adhere to safety protocol.

SCADA Controls Automation Engineer

• Operate and maintain the end-to-end ATO process, covering Authorization to Design, Authorization to Develop, and Authorization to Operate phases.
• Orchestrate cross functional activities across ADRB, ARB, ISRMP/CATO, and Production Management to ensure timely and complete ATO outcomes.
• Act as a primary escalation point for complex or stalled ATO engagements.
• Ensure ATO workflows enforce enterprise architecture standards, security controls, and operational readiness requirements prior to production release.
• Support audit and regulatory expectations by maintaining clear process documentation, defined tollgates, and traceable approval artifacts.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture team to ensure architectural findings are addressed before ATO issuance.
• Analyze current-state business and technology processes to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation, workflow simplification, and operational improvement.
• Design, build, test, and deploy automation solutions using scripting, workflow orchestration, robotic process automation, and AI-based capabilities where appropriate.
• Collaborate with process owners, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to define requirements, success criteria, and implementation plans.
• Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems, applications, APIs, and data sources while maintaining reliability, scalability, and security.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to application teams, guiding them through ATO requirements and expectations.
• Facilitate ARB / ATO office hours and provide clear guidance on scope, sequencing, and readiness criteria.
• Define and track ATO KPIs (cycle time, backlog, rework drivers, demand patterns).

AI Process and Automation Engineer, Officer

• Development of Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), Detailed Design Specifications (DDS), and Test Scripts
• Act as the overall technical lead depending on the scope and timeline of the project; independently or within in a team to Design, Implement and Test process control automation software
• Ensure software project execution is accurate, documented, and delivered on time
• Improve engineering efficiency of the team through training and utilization of engineers and technicians

Software Automation Engineer

• Develop system architectures and data flows for biologics, pharmaceutical, and advanced therapy manufacturing (DCS, PLC/SCADA, MES, historians, network layers)
