• Own Aqua’s long-term business success, product outcomes, vision, strategy, competitive positioning, value proposition and multi-year roadmap.
• Maintain a structured product portfolio with clear priorities, measurable objectives and success metrics aligned with company goals.
• Evaluate roadmap initiatives as investments by balancing customer value, financial return, engineering cost, technical feasibility and risk.
• Lead product discovery through customer research, hypothesis validation, experimentation and measurable learning.
• Build and defend evidence-based investment cases using opportunity sizing, on-chain data, competitive benchmarking and cost-benefit analysis.
• Define meaningful product KPIs and evaluate whether product investments deliver their intended business outcomes.
• Use approved AI tools for strategic analysis, market research, product discovery, business-case development and documentation, while validating outputs and retaining accountability for decisions.
• Monitor competitors and technological, regulatory, macroeconomic and market developments, translating relevant insights into roadmap decisions.
• Assess smart contract, protocol, liquidity, operational, financial, market and security risks before making strategic product decisions.
• Align cross-functional teams around Aqua’s long-term vision and communicate priorities, trade-offs, risks and product performance to technical, non-technical and executive audiences.

Senior Product Manager, Aqua

• Create and maintain the team’s roadmap, milestones, and dependencies with strategic priorities in mind
• Define features, write product specifications, facilitate user studies, iterate on feedback, help write test plans with QA, manage the backlog, and ultimately ship products/features in a timely manner
• Interview and interact with customers to build empathy, ensuring that their needs are met
• Prioritize initiatives and projects appropriately and weigh tradeoffs that must be made
• Perform market research and analysis
• Represent the team in communication with cross-functional teams

Senior Product Manager, Trading

• Own the identity verification platform from initiation through to approval
• Manage multi-vendor IDV infrastructure, combating synthetic fraud and AI-generated identity attacks
• Ensure KYC experience is fast and reassuring for every user
• Own the re-verification experience for existing users
• Ensure the Re-KYC process is low-disruption and clearly communicated
• Determine how money moves in and out of the Exchange
• Own decisions regarding payment methods across different markets
• Ensure users can fund their accounts quickly and transparently
• Manage the activation ladder from first deposit through to first trade and index position
• Own the onboarding incentives from KYC completion onward
• Ensure smooth transition and communication at each step from KYC to trading

Principal Product Manager – Verification & Activation

• Drive payment product development and management for the country identifying and assessing relevant customer, competitor, and industry insights to define strategies for revenue growth
• Provide strategic insight and recommendations on innovative payment product development, targeting, and segmentation strategies, overseeing the product development lifecycle, market demands, technology trends, and the competitive landscape
• Manage all elements of the product development life cycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization, ensuring a structured approach to product evolution
• Lead the implementation of new FMIs (Financial Market Infrastructures) and schemes, ensuring smooth integration and compliance
• Create epics and detailed business requirements, translating strategic objectives and regulatory requirements into actionable development tasks for technology teams
• Assess current system capabilities and collaborate closely with technology teams on solutioning, identifying optimal technical approaches for new product features and enhancements
• Collaborate closely with Operations and Technology teams on new payment product rollouts, enhancements, and process improvements, ensuring seamless execution
• Review new and existing regulations, conduct thorough impact assessments, and develop comprehensive action plans to ensure continuous compliance
• Manage and deliver regulatory projects within strict timelines, ensuring adherence to all applicable local and international payment regulations
• Oversee product financial performance, identifying opportunities and gaps, and developing robust business strategies to drive portfolio growth and profitability
• Maintain comprehensive product documentation, capability grids, policies, and procedures, ensuring full compliance with local regulatory requirements and governance approvals
• Act as a subject matter expert for payment products, providing guidance and training to internal stakeholders and contributing to client engagement. This includes actively participating in client engagement activities, preparing and delivering pitches, and coordinating initiatives with key clients
• Engage directly with regulatory bodies and scheme organizations, representing the firm's interests and ensuring alignment with industry standards
• Proactively assess and manage product risk, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and internal policies, demonstrating sound ethical judgment and escalating control issues transparently
