Product Analyst

• This position will focus on product data and business intelligence.
• Support a wide range of business initiatives including analytics, reporting, product filings and the development of new product capabilities.
• Work closely with multiple business and IT areas including agency operations.

• Support product management by delivering critical analytical insights; research, conduct high-quality analyses, reports, and communicate key product performance metrics.
• Research key business data using statistical analysis and data mining to understand historical patterns that can be utilized to improve business performance.
• Develops the programming of scalable and flexible data reporting and analysis solutions to fulfill the needs of the team.
• Monitors product performance/results in coordination with actuarial, loss analytic and performance analytics.
• Monitor the marketplace for emerging opportunities and identify competitor and industrial changes impacting the effectiveness of the current product offers and pricing position.
• Work with business stakeholders to provide technical and analytical leadership, controlling aspects of the development of project deliverables including cross-functional program management, data gathering and manipulation, analysis and modelling, and communication of insights and recommendations.
• Provides data mining, pattern and root cause analyses to help business units understand areas of untapped opportunity.

Senior Product Analyst

• Develop and apply subject-matter expertise related to deposit and debit products.
• Execute product development initiatives and other projects by analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, measuring performance, and interpreting results to drive profitable growth, operational soundness, or regulatory compliance.
• Define Epics, Features and User Stories for DPRE product and pricing enhancements
• Partner in the execution of marketing, promotional and sales campaigns to drive client acquisition, deepening and retention for deposits and debit products.
• Work with Channel Leaders, Complaints partners, and Enablement teams to research and resolve client issues and create product and process documents to assist in teammate training.
• Build strong working relationships with key partners (Marketing, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Distribution, Servicing, Operations, Analytics, Technology, etc.).
• Work effectively as a part of cross-functional teams to drive successful strategic outcomes.
• Partner with analytics teams to conduct analysis around client behavior and needs.
• Perform research into competitor products.

Deposit Product Analyst – Deposit Pricing and Rewards Engine

• Support product analysis by gathering and organizing data related to product performance, pricing, and underwriting trends.
• Assist with market research and help maintain competitive intelligence across insurance products and states.
• Help prepare presentations and reports to communicate findings to team members and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with actuarial and underwriting teams on updates to guidelines and pricing inputs.
• Track regulatory updates and assist the team in keeping product documentation aligned with compliance standards.
• Work within systems like Excel and SQL to run queries and manipulate data under guidance from senior analysts.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects to support product development and enhancements.

Insurance Product Analyst

• Perform daily operational duties for DC Financial products and specific DCLI products during accumulation phase.
• Provide insight for assumption development and actuarial modeling methodologies to pricing, valuation, and risk as needed.
• Develop dashboards and ad-hoc analyses across DC Financial Product suite to deliver up-to-date product analytics for key stakeholders and work closely with DCLI product managers to apply capabilities across DC product suite.
• Partner with key division and enterprise functions such as Delivery Acceleration, Compliance, Operations and Technology to ensure DC financial product operations and processes are established and functioning effectively.
• Support DC Financial Products, by supporting product development and management, which may include contributing to designing product features, as well as supporting execution and implementation of our solutions.
• Support the delivery of Financial Products and features in accordance with agreed-upon schedules, ensuring they meet customer needs and business objectives, and ensuring alignment with strategic and business objectives, as well as compliance considerations.
• Support the creation of technical specifications for admin and illustration systems and perform user-acceptance testing to ensure accurate implementation for DC Financial products.
• In collaboration with the broader DC team and National Markets, support general DC market research efforts done by research and product managers while staying on top of industry trends, including any adjacent markets (e.g. HSA).
