Platform Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure to support production and development environments.
• Automate deployment processes and improve system performance.
• Ensure 24/7 platform uptime across the globe.
• Support operational teams in BAU activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and support development and operations initiatives.
• Engage in all stages of the DevOps Engineering Life Cycle (concept, define, design, build, test, release, maintain, and retire).
• Propose, scope, design, and implement various infrastructure architectures.
• Maintain and deploy highly-available, fault-tolerant systems at scale.
• Utilize Azure cloud native technologies, Kubernetes, Docker, and configuration management tools.
• Work collaboratively with multiple teams to deliver end-to-end products and features.
• Keep up to date on modern technologies and trends, advocating for their inclusion within products when appropriate.
• Following the successful completion of the probation period, the candidate will be included in the team’s on-call rotation. This involves responding to critical incidents and ensuring platform reliability outside of standard working hours, on a scheduled basis.

Platform Operations Engineer

• Design and implement cloud-based data platform infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate data engineering workflows.
• Implement and operate observability solutions integrating monitoring, logging, and metrics.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Apply best practices for high availability, disaster recovery, security and cost optimization.

Data Platform Engineer

• Providing expert, 3rd line technical support and advanced troubleshooting for complex incidents and problems in a Linux environment.
• Collaborating with the Service Integrator, 3rd parties, and other specialists to ensure the stability, availability, performance, and security of services through a best-practice approach.
• Leading the planning, documentation, and execution of change and release activities, including patch and upgrade management.
• Maintaining and enhancing configuration data, ensuring its accuracy and currency.
• Acting as an escalation point for complex incidents and issues, driving them to resolution and communicating effectively with all stakeholders.
• Proactively identifying, managing, and mitigating technical risks and issues.
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of high-quality technical documentation.
• Adhering to and championing ITIL-based policies and practices within our service management framework.
