Senior Network Administrator

• Supports the stability, security, and efficient operation of Army enterprise network environments within the NETCOM Global Management Team (GMT)
• Provides mid‑level administration, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting of critical network infrastructure that supports the Army Enterprise Network and JRSS environments
• Assists with incident response, maintains boundary security devices, applies DoD/Army cybersecurity policies
• Collaborates with mission partners such as Theater Signal Commands, DISA, RCCs, and NECs
• Contributes to managing routers, firewalls, load balancers, and related network services while supporting automation initiatives, documentation updates, and compliance with enterprise security requirements

Network Administrator

• Interface with Network Evolving Architecture teams to help lead technical direction for backbone and CRAN evolution, including development of scalable routing architectures (ISIS, BGP, LDP, RSVP TE/Segment Routing), optical transport integration (CDC ROADM, coherent optics, OTN), and the adoption of new IP, MPLS, and Ethernet standards across the Transport and IP layers.
• Responsibilities include defining and validating architectural roadmaps, leading lab and field trials, and driving beta and launch cycles for integrated voice, video, and data platforms across the converged IP network.
• Support Comcast’s global peering ecosystem and ensure seamless connectivity between Converged Regional Area Networks (CRANs) and the broader internet.

Senior Network Engineer – Core IP Engineering

• Maintain, secure, and optimize complex network infrastructure

• Own the technical operation, engineering, and architecture of Cloudflare's global network, including planning, installation, and day-to-day management of hardware and software across the edge and backbone.
• Serve as a hands-on operational anchor for the team — diagnosing and resolving complex network faults, owning incident response end-to-end including on-call rotation, and contributing to post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Build production AI agents for network operations. Design, ship, and own LLM-powered tools that integrate with our operational systems of record via tool calling. Ship them with evals, observability of agent decisions, cost tracking, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints where autonomous action carries blast radius.
• Apply AI to accelerate troubleshooting. Use and extend our internal AI platform (Workers AI, AI Gateway) to speed up root cause analysis, pattern recognition across faults, and operational decision-making under pressure.
• Architect network improvements that lower latency, reduce packet loss, and increase scale — optimising end user experience across Cloudflare's global infrastructure.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers on the team, setting technical standards, conducting structured troubleshooting sessions, and building a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with internal teams on cross-functional network projects, contributing to design documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles that outlast any individual contributor.

• Be responsible for customer installations and configurations and create customer facing High-Level Designs and detailed Low-Level Designs.
• Be the networking technical lead on customer projects
• Design, configure, deploy and troubleshoot the following vendor technologies: Extreme Networks routers, switches, wireless and management platforms
• Extreme fabric engine (VOSS) and switch engine (EXOS) including SPBM/ISIS, OSPF, BGP.
• Extreme XIQ Cloud Platform ONE Extreme XIQ-Site Engine, Control Engine (NAC) and Analytics
• Extreme wireless controllers and APs
