Head of Department

• Establish and lead a new Network Optimization function reporting to the CTO Networks
• Monitor, analyze, and report on network performance metrics, KPIs, and trends
• Proactively identify bottlenecks, service degradation, and emerging risks
• Lead resolution of complex network incidents and major service outages across core network domains
• Contribute to solution architecture and design from an operational perspective
• Manage, coach, and develop the Network Optimization team
• Own and govern the Root Cause Analysis process and track corrective and preventive actions
• Define and improve vendor management, service management, and operational governance processes
• Maintain operational procedures, recovery plans, and best practices
• Oversee deployment, integration, and operational acceptance of new core network elements, features, and software upgrades
• Execute traffic management and network optimization activities
• Ensure activities meet timelines, quality standards, and organizational objectives
• Maintain an on-call 24/7 rota for the defined network scope
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Operations, Product, Software Engineering, Legal & Regulatory, and commercial teams

• Build a strong internal community focused on continuous improvement
• Partner with delivery teams across markets to understand what works and what doesn’t, and scale best practices without imposing heavy processes.
