Independent Investment Advisor

• The Finance Director is a strategic, hands-on leader responsible for spiderSilk’s financial strategy, performance, governance, and operational finance.
• Partner closely with the CEO and executive team to drive sustainable growth, improve unit economics, strengthen controls, and enable capital-efficient scaling.
• Own reporting, budgeting/forecasting, cash management, fundraising support, and finance operations (including accounting, tax, compliance, procurement, and commercial finance).

Director of Finance

• Provide expert VAT advisory support to business units across MENAT.
• Assess VAT implications of new business initiatives, contracts, and transactions.
• Monitor legislative changes and proactively advise leadership on impacts and required actions.
• Oversee timely and accurate VAT filings across multiple MENAT jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance with local VAT regulations, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
• Develop and maintain internal VAT policies, controls, and process improvements.
• Lead end‑to‑end VAT refund processes, ensuring timely submission and follow‑up with authorities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for VAT audits, inquiries, and clarifications.
• Prepare regular VAT dashboards and key metrics for senior leadership.

Senior Finance Manager – Indirect Tax

• Reporting directly to the CEO, you will act as the Group's primary finance business partner — a role that combines technical financial rigour with strategic proximity to decision-making.
• Group consolidation and multi-entity financial reporting (Luxembourg holding, French subsidiary, UAE and Singapore entities)
• Monthly management reporting: cashflow monitoring, margin tracking, and profitability analysis by business unit
• Supporting the CFO function in a fractional setup: coordination of financial deliverables, audit preparation, and closing processes
• International tax compliance support: transfer pricing basics, inter-company flows, VAT across jurisdictions
• M&A support: financial due diligence assistance, data room preparation, and financial modelling
• Build and maintain financial dashboards and KPIs for Group leadership and Board reporting
• Contribute to the structuring of internal finance processes (HRIS, ERP, financial governance frameworks)

Finance Business Partner

• Build and own a centralised finance function that gives holding level leadership a clear picture across all entities
• Build and own group level cash flow forecasting capability across entities
• Design and implement activity based cost allocation across shared services so that group costs are attributed properly across entities
• Support leadership on trade sale positioning, exit strategy for portfolio companies, and long term IPO readiness for the group
• Lead group level tax planning. Efficient, compliant, and forward thinking
• Build a reporting structure that goes all the way to board level. Quarterly performance, financial governance, fundraising visibility.

Group Finance Manager

• Take immediate ownership of our daily cash cycle.
• Manage the movement of high-volume USD revenue from Whop to our UAE bank accounts.
• Ensure seamless, daily funding of our GBP/AED corporate cards for Meta ad spend.
• Lead the critical transition from our legacy payment setup to our new UAE-native solution.
• Oversee the financial operations across all entities.
• Manage our external bookkeeping partner, ensuring they maintain accurate records in Xero.
• Diagnose the current financial performance of specific business units.
• Deliver highly distilled, pragmatic reporting to stakeholders.

Head of Finance Operations

• Deliver high-quality, fact-based research and analysis for financial services and corporate clients.
• Manage projects end-to-end: from ideation and solution design to execution and delivery.
• Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis to solve complex business problems.
• Develop expertise in market trends, financials, and operating drivers across industries.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to business development activities.

Consultant, Financial Services – Arabic Speaking

• Managing the business cycle- 3-year plan, budget, forecasts at each level of the organization
• Define KPIs to measure the performance in all areas of the organization- mfg., R&D, eng, supply, commissioning
• Analyze the performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation as well as corrective action plans as needed
• Advising Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches, processes and procedures in the own field
• Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems
