Electrical Engineer

• The Electrical Engineer Manager is responsible for end‑to‑end execution of all brownfield projects and small-medium greenfield projects, with accountability for engineering delivery, cost control, schedule adherence, and risk management.
• This role provides dedicated leadership for high‑risk, execution‑heavy work, ensuring predictable delivery while protecting margin. The Engineering Manager operates as the primary execution owner, engineering resource manager, subcontractor quality manager. This individual must be knowledgeable of all projects being worked on by their team so that they can support their engineers’ needs and help them resolve project issues. This role will require strong interpersonal and communication skills with enhanced multi-tasking abilities across engineering, project management, procurement, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have the ability to support company, and client needs while also promoting individual success and inspiring their employees to grow within the organization.
• **Essential Job Duties:**
• 1. Manage engineering resources to keep them fully utilized on internal and client projects.
• 2. Recruit and interview possible engineering candidates when additional resources are needed.
• 3. Oversee training and mentoring of engineering personnel.
• 4. Execute annual performance reviews for engineering staff and recommend raises or promotions when appropriate.
• 5. Develop and maintain department standards while making sure that these standards are followed by all employees for all projects.
• 6. Manage day‑to‑day engineering activities across design, implementation, commissioning, and close‑out, ensuring adherence to project schedules, scope, and cost targets.
• 7. Collaborate with executive team to develop department goals and individual development goals for engineering staff.
• 8. Work with clients and other KPI employees to develop the proper material handling system and equipment to suit the client’s needs.
• 9. Lead design reviews and attend client meetings to support project engineers.
• 10. Support vendor factory acceptance testing or first article inspections.
• 11. Oversee Electrical and controls subcontractors.

Electrical Engineer – Manager

• In this role, you will provide reliable technical assistance to internal and external customers.
• You will provide professional coverage of Technical Support Helpdesk with a specific focus on PLC-controlled machines and subsystems and control systems based on C/C++, C#, and Java programming languages.
• You will support focus on accuracy, timely feedback, and customer satisfaction.
• You will drive timely identification, investigation, resolution, root cause analysis and replication of technical issues.
• You will build internal relationships to expedite complicated cases.
• You will develop broad understanding of customer needs.
• You will support the knowledge-sharing mindset, methodology, and tools.
• You will help develop Technical Support processes.
• You will ensure proper documenting and recording of all activity and communication.

Electrical Engineer II

• Play a key role in supporting the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components.
• Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, analyze technical requirements, and implement electrical engineering strategies and best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve project execution risks while interfacing with customers to develop high quality designs.

Electrical Engineer I

• Lead and manage a global electrical engineering organization responsible for embedded hardware and software development, including teams in North America and India
• Own the controls architecture and strategy aligned with cold storage product roadmaps and platform reuse initiatives
• Provide technical oversight for embedded firmware, control algorithms, sensing, actuation, and communications
• Drive modular, reusable, and scalable control solutions across multiple product platforms
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing teams through all phases of the toll-gate NPD process
• Support products manufactured at multiple global production facilities
• Contribute to component, sub-system, and system-level technology roadmaps
• Lead advanced development and innovation initiatives supporting future NPD programs and intellectual property creation
• Partner with Product Management, Quality, and Regulatory to develop and maintain embedded HW/SW requirements, safety analyses, and traceability from customer needs through verification and validation
• Ensure electrical and controls designs meet applicable regulatory and certification requirements (e.g., FDA, UL, IEC, CE, CSA)
• Drive standardization of system-level specifications, test plans, and validation strategies
• Champion modern embedded software development practices using Confluence, Jira, and Git for requirements management, agile execution, version control, and documentation
• Establish and maintain best practices for coding standards, reviews, configuration management, and release processes
• Develop budgets, resource plans, and schedules in partnership with NPD project managers and leadership
• Balance internal resources, global engineering contractors, and third-party support
• Coach, mentor, and develop engineers and technicians to build technical depth and leadership capability
• Foster a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Manager, Electrical Engineering – Embedded Controls

• Lead a team of Electrical Engineers to design, execute, and commission Electrical Engineering scope of material handling projects
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve project execution risks
• Interface with customers to develop high-quality designs that meet customer needs
• Work with project team to manage project deliverables, tasks, schedules, and financials
• Prioritize tasks based on schedule requirements
• Help enforce department processes onto projects
• Create electrical model drawings, electrical device layout drawings, e-stop drawings, network drawings, including schematic drawings by panel
• Conduct and Participate in System Design Reviews
• Provide onsite, remote and escalation support for projects and coordinate with other project engineering disciplines to identify and resolve issues
• Provide technical expertise and guide team
• Lead the electrical device functionality check on project site
• Diagnose installation and electrical device issues in the field and provide steps toward resolution
• Monitor project phasing and adhere to project specifications while maintaining as sold scope
• Review the client Scope of Work/ Request for Proposal/ Request for Quote and communicate and resolve all internal and customer reported issues
• Attend weekly team meetings, review scheduled tasks, and report project progress on a regular basis
• Develop buyout configuration and motor calculation worksheets
• Create permit drawings
• Order control panels, electrical field devices, and electrical buyouts
• Set up and testing electrical prototypes
• Develop electrical spare parts list and site readiness checklist
• Set up electrical networks and Profibus, performing I/O checkout and commissioning, labeling electrical devices, creating electrical punch list for installation, and troubleshooting electrical product issues on site
• Provide as-built technical documentation.
