• Support the team in delivering high-impact projects related to customs valuation, tariff classification, origin determination, Free Trade Agreement (FTA) utilization, and overall trade compliance.
• Conduct technical research on Vietnamese/Thai/Malaysian and other international customs regulations, develop strategies for import/export optimization, and advise on risk mitigation.
• Identify opportunities for clients to reduce duty costs, improve compliance, or enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate across Maersk’s customs clearance, logistics, and warehousing functions in Asia.
• Support automation and digitalization efforts in customs processes and global trade management systems.
• Assist clients with customs audits, regulatory inquiries, and post-clearance reviews.
• Contribute to internal initiatives including business development, thought leadership, and practice innovation.
• Partner with Sales and product teams to support GTCC consulting growth, including preparing and delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Help foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.

Application Consultant, Vietnamese-speaking

• Identify and select relevant Groundwater-dependent Ecosystems (GWDE) in the Vietnamese side of the CMDA based on the general assessment of the aquifer and existing information on protected sites.
• Compile and analyze available data and information describing the selected GWDE sites to support their assessment.
• Identify data gaps in this area.
• Contribute technically to a collaborative assessment of the GWDE of the Vietnamese side of the CMDA, including the evaluation of ecosystems state (e.g. wetlands) and ecosystem services (groundwater recharge, flood retention, nutrient reduction).
• Assess potential impacts and trends on GWDE using state-of-the-art methodologies and existing numerical assessment tools.
• Prepare a report summarizing the contribution in terms of GWDE to the TDA process for the Vietnamese side of the CMDA.
• Participate in and provide inputs for internal and external meetings and workshops, as required.
