Marketing Communications Manager

• Write, edit, and publish employee-facing communications across Slack, email, SharePoint, and Autodesk’s intranet
• Maintain an internal editorial calendar and manage Product Organization-owned communication channels
• Develop content for newsletters, announcements, leadership messages, and internal events
• Use generative AI tools responsibly to speed up drafting, explore messaging options, and improve clarity
• Support Product Organization All Hands and internal events (content, agendas, scripts, logistics)
• Translate complex business information into clear, accessible, engaging content to drive business goals
• Surface Product Organization stories that highlight impact, customer value, and progress
• Partner with Communication Business Partners and Chiefs of Staff to ensure alignment to strategy and priorities
• Apply communications playbooks, templates, and workflows for consistency and quality
• Work with cross-functional partners (HR, Legal, Product, etc.) to gather information and approvals
• Monitor performance using communications dashboards and channel analytics
• Use insights to refine messaging and improve employee engagement
• Participate in learning sessions, peer reviews, and shared practice forums

Internal Communications Partner

• Leads strategic positioning to advance regional and corporate business objectives and brand goals, advising leadership on objectives, tactics and timing
• Researches, writes coordinates and executes internal and external communication plans and message development and multi-media materials
• Writes and publishes a monthly area newsletter to drive WM’s values-driven culture and employee engagement
• Writes letters, articles and talking points for external and internal audiences
• Actively engages internally to understand the business and track risks and opportunities
• Manages proactive media work and incoming media inquiries
• Serves as the media point person on the area critical incident response team
• Takes a lead role in the design and quality assurance for area communication tools and systems (area message matrix, official templates for PowerPoint and business letters, approved communications plans, photo and video libraries, etc.)
• Takes a lead role in quality assurance for leadership communications as needed, providing attention to detail and expert proofing skills
• Operates with clarity and consistency in managing multiple queries, content streams and projects simultaneously
• May plan and assist with company events
• May be responsible for creating and supporting external and internal communications regarding service continuity connected to weather or crisis management

Manager – Strategic Communications, Media

• Own the Member Communications Strategy: You’ll develop and lead a comprehensive marketing communications strategy that defines how and when BECU proactively engages members across the full lifecycle, shifting from transactional messaging to a more strategic, marketing-driven approach.
• Lead Omnichannel Engagement Planning: You’ll determine the right mix of channels—including email, mobile app, digital experiences, statements, and other touchpoints—to deliver cohesive, engaging member experiences that drive adoption, trust, and retention.
• Drive Go-to-Market and Lifecycle Initiatives: You’ll lead marketing communications and go-to-market strategies for new features and experiences, ensuring members understand the value and are motivated to engage.
• Partner Across the Organization: You’ll collaborate closely with product, digital, operations, MarTech, UX, and creative teams to translate business needs into clear, effective communications while aligning to shared goals and timelines.
• Guide Creative Development: You’ll write clear creative briefs, provide thoughtful feedback, and partner closely with copywriters and designers to ensure messaging is on-brand, member-centric, and effective.
• Manage Campaign Execution: You’ll oversee campaign planning, calendaring, and execution, with the ability to independently manage campaigns using established tools and processes.
• Measure and Optimize Performance: You’ll define, track, and refine KPIs to evaluate performance, engagement, and impact—using insights to continuously improve strategies and outcomes.
• Oversee Budgets and Business Cases: You’ll support the management of marketing budgets, monitor spend, and build business cases to support initiatives such as centralizing member communications for a more cohesive experience.
• Navigate a Regulated Environment: You’ll ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, particularly within a financial services context.
• Contribute to Team Culture: You’ll bring a collaborative mindset, share learnings and best practices, and help foster a culture where curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement thrive.
