Collections

• The collections clerk is responsible for recovering the maximum amount of overdue funds from customers
• Prioritize and segment collection activities to maximize cash receipts
• Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and determine reasons for non-payment
• Issue payment commitment letters
• Issue credit hold notifications
• Coordinate changes to customer credit terms
• Initiate small claims court complaints when necessary
• Maintain accurate records of customer payment status
