• Investigate trends, anomalies, and opportunities across the business and wider market, translating findings into practical recommendations that improve customer experience, commercial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
• Proactively identify opportunities for growth, optimisation, and innovation by analysing customer behaviour, market trends, competitor activity, operational performance, and emerging technologies. Surface insights that help the business prioritise investments and strategic initiatives.
• Design, maintain, and improve dashboards and recurring reporting that are clear, trusted, and genuinely useful to stakeholders.
• Actively identify opportunities to introduce AI-assisted workflows, automation, and smarter analytical processes to improve efficiency and business impact.
• Identify inconsistencies, gaps, and risks in data, reporting, tracking, modelling, and querying, helping strengthen governance, privacy, responsible AI usage, and trust in business-critical metrics.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand their questions, shape analysis, and communicate findings clearly.

Business Intelligence Analyst

• Lead, develop, and manage a team of three analysts — workload allocation, quality review, and growth
• Set the standards for data models, definitions, and documentation the whole business relies on.
• Serve as the primary data partner to stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Product
• Maintain daily automated reports: leads, listings, LPL, promoted listings, sold listings, market monitor
• Deliver weekly ad-hoc data requests across P24 and AutoTrader
• Produce monthly and quarterly commercial analyses, industry reports, and press-ready data articles
• Track commercial KPIs: take rate, ROS/MDS, LPL per dealer, slot utilisation, dealer profitability

Senior BI Analyst – Team Lead

• Design and build scalable data models (dimensional models, semantic layers, and curated datasets) that power reporting and analytics across the business.
• Own the development and optimisation of BI dashboards and reporting layers, ensuring they are accurate, performant, and self-service ready.
• Partner with Data Engineering to define data contracts, improve data quality, and ensure robust, well-structured pipelines.
• Translate complex, ambiguous business requirements into well-defined data models and BI solutions.
• Build and maintain cohort, funnel, retention, and performance datasets that enable consistent reporting across teams.
• Support experimentation by ensuring A/B test data is correctly structured, tracked, and accessible for analysis.

• Own the full reporting lifecycle, including requirements gathering, data modelling, deployment, testing, and ongoing optimization
• Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, scalability, and alignment with business KPIs
• Manage report scheduling, refresh processes, access permissions, and version control
