Auditor

• Conduct quality control audits of mortgage loan originations and servicing activities to ensure compliance with company policies, investor requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Review loan files, underwriting decisions, and processes to identify deficiencies, monitor trends, and support corrective actions.
• Partner with third-party vendors and cross-functional teams to gather information, resolve audit findings, and strengthen quality throughout the mortgage loan lifecycle.
• Analyze audit results, assist with root cause analysis, and prepare clear, actionable reports that support continuous process improvement.
• Prepare responses to external audit findings and assist with self-reporting to investors and agencies when required.
• Stay current on federal and state regulations, investor requirements, and agency guidelines that impact mortgage operations.

Quality Control Auditor

• Assists the Company in accomplishing its strategic objectives by evaluating and improving organizational governance.
• Performs assigned audit test work in accordance with the approved audit program on financial, operational, and compliance audits and projects within budgeted timeframes.
• Monitors the progress of work assigned to others, provides assistance and guidance, and reviews work performed to ensure objectives are met.
• Analyzes accounting records, operations, policies, and procedures to determine validity of financial records and effectiveness of controls.
• Applies appropriate audit procedures to ensure controls are tested, and risks addressed.
• Identifies and presents audit issues and recommendations in various levels of management.

Internal Auditor

• We are hiring an Auditor or Senior Auditor based on skills, experience, and demonstrated scope of impact.
• In this role, you will evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the organization’s risk management, control, and governance processes through internal assurance and consulting engagements, collaboration with business partners, and support of external audit and regulatory examination activities.
• Position level will be determined based on the individual’s skills, knowledge, and experience.
• Perform internal assurance and consulting reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
• Use audit evidence, analysis, and root cause thinking to identify observations, risks, and practical improvement opportunities, and communicate findings through written reports and verbal discussions.
• Collaborate with business partners to recommend process and internal control changes that balance company and customer interests.
• Assist external auditors with interim and year-end external audits and support coordination of regulatory financial examinations.
• Support assigned projects and audit-related activities, which may include control certification work, audit planning support, system implementation reviews, automation initiatives, or process redesign efforts depending on level.
• At more advanced levels, provide mentorship, guidance, and support to less experienced auditors.

Auditor, Senior Auditor

• Collaborates with clinical documentation team in the review of inpatient accounts (with an emphasis on mortality reviews) identifying documentation improvement opportunities
• Assess DRG, PDx, secondary Dx, PCS, POA and all other components of documentation that impact quality metrics
• Consistently assures coding practices remain compliant with coding guidelines and regulations
• Continually identifies educational opportunities related to coding and documentation
• Expert educator to clinical teams and medical staff
• Identifies strategic plans that will result in a positive impact to the clinical dashboard
• Develops clinical relationships across the health system securing interdepartmental support necessary for successful implementation of education strategies assuring achievement of overall strategic targets
• Ability to multi-task a variety of audits
• Ability to analyze data and construct appropriate action plans
• Develops teaching tools to promote quality outcomes
• Is an active member of clinical and executive meetings as identified
• Advanced understanding of quality metrics for health system (Vizient, PSI, USNWR)
• Advanced understanding of clinical documentation and coding through the lens of local and national quality and ranking methodologies, including but not limited to, U.S News and World Report, Vizient, Leapfrog, the CMS Star Rating, and payer contracts and assists the Managers of Clinical Documentation and Coding in implementing key strategies to effect change.
• Partners with Coding, Clinical Documentation leadership and Medical Directors to coordinate, maintain, and execute advanced project work that includes but, is not limited to, Mortality Review, HAC/PSI Review, Quality Abstraction and Analysis, and/or special and non-traditional project work.
• Partners with NM departments that includes but is not limited to: IT; Analytics; and Innovation to design and implement new and advanced workflow solutions.
• Partners with third-party consultants/partners to contribute to workflow and methodology build and refine as necessary.
