Architect

• Develop the overall application architecture, including the design and implementation of new systems and the evolution of existing systems.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams, including guidance on design and development best practices.
• Ensure alignment of application systems with LADOTD overall technology strategy and business goals.
• Collaborate with LADOTD stakeholders, project managers, and other IT teams to define and prioritize application requirements.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Mentor and train development teams on new technologies and best practices.

Application Architect

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of RMS implementations, including solution design, system configuration, testing, training, and go-live support
• Possess technical aptitude to configure and implement workflows, forms, and data structures within configurable platforms
• Translate customer business requirements into scalable technical configurations and user workflows
• Oversee RMS implementation across workstreams, including integrations and hardware components
• Establish and standardize best practices for RMS delivery across customers
• Facilitate customer workshops to gather requirements, validate workflows, and drive alignment
• Deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions (in-person and virtual) for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Lead product demonstrations, working sessions, and launch events with confidence and clarity
• Support user adoption by translating product capabilities into practical, real-world use cases
• Guide change management efforts to ensure successful product adoption and long-term customer success
• Identify risks, surface issues, and communicate project status effectively to internal and external stakeholders
• Gather customer feedback and partner with Product teams to inform roadmap priorities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Training, Product, and Project Management teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes

RMS Architect

• Lead development of SystemVerilog / UVM verification environments for FPGA designs
• Build and improve testbenches, agents, scoreboards, monitors, and sequences
• Define verification strategy, test plans, and coverage goals
• Drive functional, code, and assertion coverage closure
• Support both simulation and emulation workflows (Veloce or similar)
• Review and improve existing verification environments and processes
• Guide engineers on UVM best practices and debug complex issues
• Support DO-254 verification activities (requirements traceability, test evidence, audits)
• Work closely with design, systems, and program teams

FPGA Verification Engineer – UVM Architect

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of core application frameworks and supporting tooling to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to define technical requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Establish and promote best practices for coding standards, design patterns, secure development, and software delivery workflows.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical oversight and support for professional development.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality, performance, and security of application frameworks.
• Own and evolve the development toolchain (e.g., source control workflows, CI/CD, code quality, security scanning) and evaluate new technologies to improve reliability and developer productivity.
• Design, standardize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release automation to support repeatable deployments across environments.
• Partner with platform/operations teams to define environment standards and automate provisioning using infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools.
• Enable container-based development and deployments by defining patterns, templates, and operational practices for Docker and Kubernetes-based workloads.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting standards; develop dashboards and reporting that support operational visibility and rapid incident response.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to framework architecture and application integration.
• Document framework designs, architecture decisions, and development processes for future reference and team knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize a consistent framework development approach across products/projects by providing standards, templates, and guidance to improve delivery quality and repeatability.
• Manage and oversee the framework team velocity, issues, risks and bottlenecks and related projects.

DevEx Architect

• Hiring and mentoring an architectural history team in the western Great Lakes Region under your direct supervision
• Developing goals and work plans for mid-and-junior level team members
• Creating a business plan for the region in coordination with the eastern Great Lakes team leader, the business center office leader, and regional growth leaders
• Ensuring high-quality architectural history projects, that include background research, built environment field work, contextual analysis, recommendations of NRHP eligibility, and report preparation
• Developing and maintaining historic architectural work with internal Stantec Project Managers, and external clients, as developed in business plan
• Performing project management duties, such as scoping, costing, and invoicing in collaboration with the project accounting team
• Coordinating with other Stantec staff to ensure the quality of data, field work, and documentation
• Qualified applicants should be able to demonstrate good leadership and judgement qualities, strong technical skills, good communication skills, and feel comfortable making technical decisions in the field. The preferred candidate also should demonstrate a desire for growth and new skill development.
