Application Engineer

• Delivering a high standard of technical customer service and building strong customer relationships
• Production issue troubleshooting, resolution, and root cause analysis - you will have access and learn to use our advanced production monitoring tools
• Be part of a team of software engineers, attending stand-ups, and planning sessions
• Investigation of reported issues in the system to make sure we are responding to clients needs in a timely manner.
• Escalation of appropriate issues to the Product and Development teams
• Creating and maintaining concise and clear knowledge articles
• Mentoring for Level 2 (L2) engineers to help them progress in their career

Application Support Engineer, L3

• Serve as a primary liaison between the Cybersecurity and development teams, ensuring security is integrated into design, development, deployment, and operations.
• Conduct application security assessments, code reviews, API testing, threat modeling, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
• Define, maintain, and enforce secure coding standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Integrate and manage security tooling within CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning, and container security solutions.
• Support secure architecture reviews for cloud‑native applications, microservices, and containerized workloads.
• Support threat modeling, risk assessments, and security architecture reviews for applications.
• Ensure that all security practices meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs for development teams to promote awareness and adherence to best practices.
• Ensure application security practices align with regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, IEC 62443).
• Keep up to date on emerging threats, incorporating threat intelligence into security practices and providing proactive defenses.
• Monitor and respond to application security threats, incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Stay up to date on regulatory developments and industry trends.
• Manage and maintain third-party vendor and consultant relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Application Security Engineer

• Supports the day-to-day operations of the Sales Staff in promoting sales, securing orders, and providing quality service to our customers.
• Regularly calls on assigned accounts, consults with customers on product and system applications, provides technical product support for branches and customers.
• Advises management on the success of marketing plans and strategies.
• Provides input to sales and marketing staff on customer needs and concerns regarding pricing, products, competition, procedures, and market potential.
• Evaluates new products and makes recommendations on stock levels.
• Provides field trouble shooting assistance and conducts product application assessments.

Senior Application Support Engineer – L3

• Provide assistance to product support team on complex technical support via phone and e-mail for both internal and external customers in the areas of selection and application.
• Develop and communicate solutions for unique and complex applications including design and special pricing.
• May travel to resolve field problems that require diagnostics or area of subject matter expertise.
• Participate in industry codes and standard committees to influence industry direction.
• Responsible for highlighting and communicating key selling points of our current products for delivery to our sales teams and customers.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and work to implement where applicable.
• Continually evaluate our competition to further enhance the company's market place, and use this knowledge to maintain and extend the company's advantage in associated markets.
• Develop, organize and present trainings to internal/external customers and trade associations both onsite and offsite.
• Take a lead role in offsite events including planning, set-up, and organize customer interactions.
• Provide input to business unit leadership for strategic planning process.
• Participates and lead industry associations.
• Will provide mentoring, training, indirect supervision of other team members, or may have direct reports.
• Leverage relationships with rep network and sales channel to develop product roadmap.
• May manage complex team projects including determining timelines.
• Document service calls to record data on product questions and field issues.
