Application Engineer

• Design, develop, and support enterprise-grade applications using .NET, .NET Core, and Python, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Define and implement robust application architecture patterns aligned with business, security, and operational requirements.
• Lead the design of modern data architectures, including relational databases, NoSQL/document stores, star schemas, data lakes, and streaming data pipelines.
• Translate business and technical requirements into end-to-end solution designs that integrate application, data, and infrastructure components effectively.
• Provide guidance on infrastructure topologies for both on-premises and cloud-based environments, including virtual machines, containers, Kubernetes/AKS, and Azure-native services.
• Drive adoption of strong SDLC and DevOps practices, including CI/CD, code quality controls, release automation, environment management, and agile delivery methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, architects, developers, data engineers, and operations teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions.

• Incident and Request Management within the AMS Environment
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical incidents related to Java applications, ensuring service stability and availability
• Address functional and technical requests, assessing their impact on the application ecosystem and proposing solutions aligned with the operational model
• Provide support for components involving JSP, Java 1.4/1.8, C, Axis, Scheduler, HTML, JavaScript , as well as related libraries and services
• Verify the correct flow of information between applications, databases, and external services, identifying deviations and coordinating corrective actions
• Manage tickets in accordance with defined standards for priority, impact, and response times
• Technical Analysis and Process Validation
• Review, analyze, and validate the technical behavior of applications, ensuring proper execution of processes, integrations, and system dependencies
• Validate synchronous and asynchronous integration flows, verifying mappings, constraints, exception handling, and expected end‑to‑end behavior
• Identify root causes of issues across applications, integrations, databases, or related infrastructure components
• Document findings, implemented solutions, and technical recommendations, ensuring traceability and operational consistency
• Technical Coordination within the Development Ecosystem
• Collaborate with development teams to manage fixes, adjustments, or technical enhancements resulting from incidents or requests
• Coordinate activities with database administrators, infrastructure, networking, or security teams when technical interdependencies exist
• Work with version‑control tools such as Git and Bitbucket for code review, traceability, and change validation
• Follow up on technical analysis activities to ensure proper implementation and closure
• Documentation and Operational Compliance
• Maintain updated technical documentation, including configurations, critical functions, integration flows, operating procedures, and support evidence
• Prepare information required for internal audits, reviews, or continuous improvement processes
• Record best practices, recurring solutions, and technical criteria to strengthen team knowledge and support maturity
• Support for Testing, Changes, and Releases
• Participate in functional and technical testing (SIT/UAT) to validate changes, corrections, and new functionalities
• Validate deliverables before deployment to production, ensuring both technical and functional compliance
• Provide support during post‑release stabilization, monitoring performance, logs, and overall service behavior
• Continuous Improvement within the AMS Service
• Identify opportunities to optimize applications, technical components, integration flows, or operational processes
• Propose improvements to enhance performance, maintainability, security, traceability, and user experience
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at strengthening the support model, automating tasks, and increasing service value

Java, API Application Support Engineer

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable automation solutions using best practices
• Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver effective automated solutions
• Test, document, and maintain automation tools throughout the application lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, support, and optimize solutions
• Identify process improvement opportunities and provide production support as needed

UiPath Application Engineer

• Resolve technical problems by troubleshooting incidents, including but not limited to collecting detailed problem description, traces, log files, and replication.
• Communicate progress of investigation with clients while ensuring all related records are properly updated in the CRM system.
• Proficient in utilizing all support tools and processes to resolve cases.
• Share best practices for the utilization and deployment of Varicent products.
• Support KPI targets (SLA, QA, Resolution, etc.).
• Available for scheduled weekend coverage for on call rotation.

Application Support Engineer, SQL, SaaS

Technical Application Engineer, Mexico

• Diseñar, implementar y mantener soluciones de RAG y asistentes conversacionales usando Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, stores de embeddings y bases de datos vectoriales en producción.
• Desarrollar y mejorar prompts para LLMs, aplicando técnicas de prompt engineering como prompt chaining, few-shot, system messages y evaluación iterativa de resultados.
• Diseñar pipelines de ingestión y recuperación de datos: extracción, limpieza, transformación, generación de embeddings, construcción de índices semánticos y orquestación de consultas de RAG.
• Integrar IA en arquitecturas de software , definiendo APIs, microservicios y patrones de despliegue (CI/CD, contenedores, infraestructura como código) en entornos Azure.

• Provide Technical Application Support of Copeland wholesalers and dedicated sales force for product selection and specification
• Development of application profiles and technical bulletins
• Customer training at designated locations
• Warranty management throughout authorized workshop
• Development of cross references or specific documentation that can support commercial initiatives
• Field support and troubleshooting
• Hands on training at Mexico´s Learning Center
• Promote Copeland initiatives by participating at industry associations events and other related activities
• Proactively interact with cross functional teams including Product Engineering, Marketing, Customer Service, Quality and Sales through designated task to enhance our customer support

• Responsible to design, develop, validate and release parts under his/her responsibility for the assigned programs.
• Look for design improvements to increase quality and cost/weight optimization.
• Lead delivery of all engineering requirements for electronic modules per development milestone.
• Manage various engineering systems and support vehicle prototype builds, product launch, and service issues.
